Call Center Management Solutions Provider Knowlagent Bolsters Management Team

By Patrick Barnard, Group Managing Editor, TMCnet

Call center management solutions provider Knowlagent recently announced a series of promotions and appointments bolstering the strength of its executive team.

The past week Knowlagent announced that it had promoted Scott Richter, the company's lead software architect, as its Chief Technology Officer. Richter has more than 18 years of software development experience in the call center industry. Prior to joining Knowlagent in 2000, he worked for nine years in the interactive voice response (IVR) systems space for Computer Communications Specialists, Inc.

In 2007, Richter was instrumental in shifting Knowlagent's agent performance improvement software and methodology from an enterprise-based solution to an exclusively on-demand offering. In his new role he will be responsible for the company's product strategy, direction and development efforts.

Earlier this month, Knowlagent announced that it had appointed Jeff Wilson, former executive vice president of sales and marketing at Whoop, a SaaS (News - Alert)-based mobile applications firm, as its new senior vice president of worldwide field operations.

While at Whoop Wilson helped direct the company's go-to-market sales, marketing and channel activities. Prior to that he was vice president and general manager of growing enterprises for Ariba, where he spearheaded the commercial development of its transformation into the small-to-mid-sized business and mass market.

Prior to Ariba, Wilson served as senior vice president of Procuri, a venture capital-funded SaaS company offering supply chain and spend management solutions. In this role, he led the field sales and marketing operations and helped define the company's overall strategic direction.

In his new role Wilson will be responsible for ensuring that sales, operations, partners and business development are aligned with Knowlagent's business objectives.

And in late March Knowlagent announced that it had appointed John Wolf, former assistant vice president, product management, Equifax Personal Solutions, as vice president of marketing and product management.

While at Equifax Personal Solutions, Wolf was responsible for managing the company's $53 million online product line. Prior to this he was founder of MyoMarkets where he developed an online marketing and e-commerce solution that developed integrated marketing plans across online marketplaces, shopping search engines, and dedicated retail sites. He also served as director, customer marketing and client services, at Marketworks, where he managed a team responsible for developing and growing marketing programs.

In his new role, Wolf and his team will be responsible for driving revenue, accelerating company growth, and ensuring Knowlagent solutions meet the unique needs of the call center.
