Cisco (News - Alert)'s Georgia Partner Appreciation Event starts later this week—October 15 —and will have some extra help thanks to a sponsorship arrangement between Cisco and ISI Telemanagement Solutions. The event is set to take place at the McCamish Pavilion Sports Complex at Georgia Tech, and will have a lot to offer.
The Partner Appreciation Event will have several main themes, including innovation and reinvention, as well as the always-welcome theme of driving business outcomes. After all, innovation and reinvention are great, but those two in isolation seldom pay the bills. The innovation and reinvention parts will be handled by presentations from Georgia Tech—along with a keynote address from Cisco's vice president of its Americas Partner Organization, Rick Snyder (News - Alert), on the topic—while several industry leaders will be involved in panel discussions on business outcomes.
As is commonly the case at such events, there will be some opportunity to network with Cisco executives as well as other Cisco partners, and connect with leaders in the industry as well. David Dishek, who serves as ISI Telemanagement Solutions (News - Alert)' unified collaboration practice lead, will actually be on hand demonstrating ISI's Infortel Select, and how this tool now supports several different Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) environments. Infortel Select also has the capability to offer summary and detail reports of operations with the Report Designer tool, which Dishek will also reportedly show off.
Dishek even had some further comment to offer about the event itself, saying “ISI is very excited to participate in this event again. Given ISI’s long history of providing unified communications (UC) management solutions, we are quite enthused to be able to unveil our software innovations to our colleagues and industry peers.”
ISI's tools have long been a part of the industry and have been shown to not only reduce costs but also help improve employee productivity. Call accounting in general has often been found as a valuable addition to many companies' repertoires, and events like the Cisco Partner Event allow companies like ISI to show off just what those tools can mean to everyday operations and even the bottom line.
