Advanced Micro Services, which offers office management and productivity enhancement solutions, announced it has helped Sunset Cardiology boost employee productivity and brought expenses under control.
Sunset Cardiology was facing an internal challenge caused by an employee who misused the phone system to make numerous 411 and long distance calls. Following this issue, the employee left the company and filed for unemployment. Though Sunset contested the claim on account that the employee’s discharge was connected with misconduct, they were unable to demonstrate this with documentation, so the Unemployment Office proceeded with the claim.
“They called us needing a call accounting software and we recommended OfficeWatch,” said Ele Vargas, account manager at Advanced, in a statement. “Advanced Micro Services became a Partner Reseller of Metropolis Technologies (News - Alert) products in 2009, and chose to distribute OfficeWatch because of its ease of installation and user friendly interface.”
The Metropolis' OfficeWatch Telemanagement solution from Advanced Micro Services supports the data network systems, hardware and office equipment of Sunset Cardiology. The solution also helps the medical practice navigate the data storage needs for their paperless electronic record management.
OfficeWatch now helps Sunset Cardiology address employee productivity issues and more. OfficeWatch Telemanagement logs all phone data from the organization’s IP PBX (News - Alert) system. They can identify any productivity issues by pulling the records that show how many calls each extension received. With this information, they can also track down any unauthorized phone calls that were made and their duration.
The productivity tool also allows managers to set up scheduled delivery of productivity reports monthly, weekly and daily. The reports can be automatically delivered to their e-mails. OfficeWatch also provides a valuable liability protection to their patients and ensures they receive superior service. The system allows managers to identify the extension a phone call was received and check whether a callback was made or not.
By increasing employee productivity and bringing costs under control, the medical practice could get reasonable financial gains, and more importantly boost the morale of their business.
“I would love to help other practices with challenging work environments like ours,” said Mariala Diaz, Office Manager for Sunset, in a statement. “If any office is experiencing phone abuse and productivity problems like we had, I would recommend OfficeWatch as a solution.”In a related development in the industry, telemanagement solution provider Metropolis Technologies announced it has been selected by Cypress Glen Retirement Community, a continuing care retirement center, to use ProfitWatch Call Accounting. Besides offering accurate billing details, ProfitWatch Call Accounting offers security with emergency notifications via e-mail, text, and screen pop-up.
