TAKE Supply Chain, a division of TAKE Solutions and a major player in the Supply Chain Management (SCM) sector, has released next version of OneSCM, mid-market SaaS (News - Alert) supply chain solution.

OneSCM supply chain collaboration and management software from TAKE Supply Chain provides mid-market companies with process automation and enhanced collaboration in a number of core functions including forecast sharing, purchasing, shipping, and accounts payable.

The OneSCM central collaboration console enables all supply chain-related staff—supply chain management, planning, procurement, logistics, and finance—to stay in sync with internal operations and trading partners/suppliers.

With OneSCM, efficiency is improved, errors are reduced, and agility is increased throughout the end-to-end supply chain.

The new version helps to reduce order fulfillment errors and delays, and delivers responsive help for mobile devices.

Officials with TAKE Supply Chain said that the version also adds order fulfillment update tools that allow suppliers/trading partners to reduce shipping errors and minimize delays.

With the help of new version, suppliers can now make expedited updates to Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASNs) and Parcel Tracking Numbers (PTNs) based on changes that may occur during the pack-out and shipping phases of order fulfillment.

“Changes at pack out and shipping can happen on a regular basis, and can often cause receiving, inventory and invoicing errors,” said Donna Fritz, VP of marketing & product management, TAKE Supply Chain, in a statement.

Fritz said that the company is delighted to offer this additional level of flexibility in OneSCM to increase order fulfillment accuracy between supplier and buyer.

This update release also includes responsive help for users accessing OneSCM via mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones.

Earlier in June, TAKE Supply Chain had announced an update release of OneSCM.

OneSCM Enterprise delivers on the promise of supporting global supply chains with the addition of global tax support. OneSCM now provides a variety of tax-related fields that originate from the integrated ERP. When a purchase order is created or changed in the ERP, the information flows into OneSCM for display and verification on the PO and Invoice screens.

This update release also includes web help integrated into the software for easy access to product explanations.
