Interactive Intelligence Hires Paul Crump as A/NZ Manager

Interactive Intelligence (News - Alert), a unified communications and call center solutions software company, announced this week that it has hired a new Australia / New Zealand Manager of Business Process Automation.


Paul Crump, a former manager at Telstra (News - Alert), will take over the position and will be charged with relationship development as part of the company's Interaction Process Automation software. The IPA software provides businesses with a dashboard that allows them to track processes over their entire life cycle. It can handle process information from multiple business systems, including databases and websites, and is branded as having the ability to work within existing business environments.

Brendan Maree, Vice President of Asia Pacific and Japan at Interactive Intelligence, spoke about the addition of Crump to the company:

"His proficiency in driving successful IT deployments will be an invaluable asset to Interactive Intelligence as we continue to expand our offering in the business process automation market," Maree said.

Prior to working with Interactive Intelligence, Crump was an account director at Nuance (News - Alert) Communications. Before that, he worked as an account director at Genesys. He spent more than 20 years with Telstra previous to those two positions. Notably, he worked in Genesys (News - Alert)'s business and government departments and acted as a group product manager, senior product developer, and account executive.

Recently, Interactive Intelligence won the coveted Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) North American Contact Center Systems Company of the Year award for the third time. As to why they were awarded Interactive Intelligence with the honor, Frost & Sullivan cited the company's continued response to its customers needs:

"Interactive Intelligence is a strategic leader in all aspects of contact center systems," Frost and Sullivan stated in its award report, "as shown by its systematic innovation across the product portfolio, as well as how it addresses the core needs of its customers through increased scale, reliability, and flexible deployment options."
