Chrome River Technologies Inc. announced the launch of PURCHASE ORDER, a new module that will be integrated with Chrome River INVOICE to deliver an end-to-end range of pre-purchase authorization solutions. The newly launched module is available for immediate deployment and will be made available in a monthly subscription model.

The new module added into the Chrome River solution enables creation of purchase orders, electronic forwarding of such orders for approval and moving the approved orders for invoice matching, all within a single Chrome River solution. The new module also allows for automatic routing of unmatched invoices for exception processing.

The PURCHASE ORDER module enables organizations to better control overhead expenses by employing powerful and flexible routing rules within the workflow for ensuring correct approvals and allocations. Further, by integrating PURCHASE ORDER with INVOICE module, the organizations can also streamline the process for invoice matching. The automated process allows for matching invoices and processing the matched invoices within the least possible time while also forwarding the unmatched invoices appropriately for quick resolution. Further, the solution integrated with Chrome River ANALYTICS enables finance teams to manage costs by analyzing expenditure data in detail with visibility into the actual spend and committed expenditure.
