Over 1,000 Customers for Nintex Workflow Solutions

By Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributor

Nintex Workflow Solutions is now deployed for more than 1,000 customers who are extending and improving business process automation by leveraging Nintex’s cloud functionality.

In addition to running workflows and forms in Microsoft Office 365, these solutions tap the on-the-go abilities of mobile apps, which allow users to easily participate in processes from any location.

Nintex’s cloud functionality has improved business processes for several departments including frontline sales and marketing, and human resources.

“I’ve been talking with a number of these customers,” said John Burton, CEO of Nintex. “They are embracing the Nintex mobile and cloud-based digital forms, together with the workflow systems, to drive efficiencies within operational processes and to enable a stronger management support framework.”

Cloud functionality from Nintex also allows users to collaborate with external vendors, partners and customers. Moreover, it creates distributed workflows that can involve on-premise SharePoint and online services such as Facebook and Twitter (News - Alert).

“We see Nintex’s Office 365 offerings as an extremely fast-growing product area,” said Jason Keller, president and CEO of TekDog Inc. “Additionally, we have many customers who use Nintex Live to connect to programs such as DropBox and OneDrive.”

Nintex launched its initial cloud offering about four years ago and has seen an increased number of deployments since then. The company notes that this increase indicates how people in the modern workplace have begun to use more content, devices and applications then previously.

Workflow software company Nintex was in news earlier this year when Eric Johnson joined the company as chief financial officer. Johnson has deep experience in all financial aspects of rapidly growing software firms including on-premises and cloud delivery business models.

He served as vice president of finance for Jive Software (News - Alert) before joining Nintex and brings over 15 years of financial and operational experience to the company.
