To keep up with the company’s internal audit and risk management requirements, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE), a company specializing in consumer-based computer entertainment, has recently selected ACL GRC.
SCEE was looking out for a robust solution for its usage with the internal audit team, as they were still using manual, paper-based files, which were clumsy and delayed coordination between the Internal audit team and auditees spread out it various geographic locations, from London to Sydney.
Most of the time it is difficult and expensive for organizations to tackle fragmented departmental and technology needs while addressing business risks. ACL GRC is the ideal solution to tackle such situation and usage of this solution will help SCEE to restructure internal audit processes and can also get timelier report and file review.
"In our search for a solution, we were impressed by the technology's ability to take the pain out of annual and individual engagement planning, file review, and reporting," said Trudi Ingles, Head of Internal Audit, Risk Management, SOX, Compliance, and Information Security at SCEE. "We strive to assist management in mitigating key strategic, operational and financial risks, while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of overall business operations. We are confident that ACL GRC will help us to accomplish those goals."
Through the new deployment, SCEE can expect to enhance collaboration among team members, can easily achieve risk assessments and scoring and also handle workflow adjustment as new issues and risks are identified. Users can also get a head start on audit, risk and compliance management and take the headache out of project planning co-ordination, documentation, review and communication with ACL GRC’S organized, productive and mobile-enabled workflow, according to ACL.
"A key value that SCEE will derive from this system is its instant capacity to solidify a cohesive audit team that can easily collaborate and work with better sightlines," said Dan Zitting, VP of Product Management and Design at ACL. "Through the use of data-driven technology, departments are able to deliver maximum value to the top levels of their organization."
