Automic Debuts Business Process Accelerator for SAP

By Jyothi Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

Consumers looking out for a solution that would cut down the waiting time for SAP (News - Alert) business processes to complete, now have an option to adapt the newly released Automic’s Business Process Accelerator for SAP (BPACC).

BPACC helps user to release the full processing power of the SAP systems, while allowing standard and custom programs to process data in parallel. This also means that the business processes run in a fraction of time, in fact up to 100x faster, without the need for additional hardware.

In most of the organisation, the blocks that is generated by SAP programs when processing large data volumes makes queues, which gradually slow the business down causing delays, interruptions and missed deadlines.

This problem can solved using the new Automic's BPACC, through which the SAP programs and transactions will run faster ensuring no supply chain, financial close, payroll or retail process errors, according to the company.

Craig Beddis, CMO at Automic comments: "Global organisations are fed up with the waiting game. To stay relevant and succeed in this new world, businesses must adapt as quickly as possible to stay competitive. With BPACC, our customers are getting the most from their SAP investments and their system is finally firing on all cylinders."

Also, Automic helps automate business processes running across SAP and non-SAP applications whether on-premise or in the cloud into one coherent process flow and this arrangement helps the application run faster, smarter and helps users to stay in control.

"The best way to describe what we do is to imagine filling an hourglass with sand. You turn the hourglass over and wait for one hour for the last few grains of sand to flow from the top to the bottom. That's how SAP systems work. Now imagine putting the same amount of sand into four hourglasses. This time, the same amount of sand takes just 15 minutes to finish flowing from top to bottom. Across 10 hourglasses or even 100 hourglasses it would take just seconds. That's how this works."

Founded in 1985, in Austria, Automic is owned by EQT, the leading private equity group in Northern Europe.
