X2Engine, a provider of sales and marketing software and cloud hosting services for X2CRM, announced the latest version of their open-source marketing automation and service application for small businesses.

X2CRM is the next generation open-source, sales force and marketing automation customer relationship management (CRM) system for small businesses.

The new X2CRM version 3.6 is now available in both cloud and on-premise editions.

The solution includes three new capabilities including Content Targeting, Mobile Activity Fee and Time Tracking.

The solution helps manage large scale marketing campaign. It provides social Intranet capabilities for sales teams, as well as extreme customization and marketing automation with X2Flow, X2CRM’s intuitive, drag-n-drop marketing automation tool, so they can build automated website personalization scenarios based on detailed customer behavior with X2Flow.

X2Content Targeting feature enables marketers to target visitors with personalized content based on business rules using simple HTML content snippets.

With the new Mobile Activity Feed included in X2CRM’s mobile client application, X2Touch, users can now see and post to their Activity Feed from their mobile device.

The Time Tracking feature gives users the ability to track “time” as part of Contact activity logs. Now, in addition to tracking contact correspondence, users can mark records with time logs for customer service and professional service engagements, the company said.

With these capabilities, small businesses are able to address different types of customers and interactions.

X2CRM version 3.6 also includes Web 2.0 Speed Optimized User Interface, Web Activity Tracker with Google Analytics Integration, Web and Facebook (News - Alert) Lead Capture Form Designer, Automatic Web Form Embedding Code, HTML Content Targeting, and more.

Earlier this year X2Engine introduced the immediate availability of new CRM data migration service that is powered by Import2. The new service automates the data import to X2CRM from CRM systems such as Salesforce.com, Zoho, SugarCRM (News - Alert), Highrise in addition to other CRM systems.

X2CRM has been deployed on more than 4,000 public and private cloud servers across 130 countries, the company said.
