Web 2.5.

UC! Web version 2.5 will provide defense manufacturers and government furnished property managers full Wide Area Workflow capabilities. The updated software will further help them maintain total IUID compliance and expedite invoicing and support paperless ecommerce initiatives.

Officials said that UC! Web 2.5 will offer an automated end-to-end WAWF solution, from UII creation to IUID registry submission, asset shipment with advanced ship notice, invoicing and report generation. It will also provide more connections to data sources such as FEDLOG to build greater data integrity for the military.

The latest version of UC! Web will be mostly used by Department of Defense components and defense contractors to identify, mark and track items in accordance with military standards. It will support the DFARS 252.232-7003 contract clause for Electronic Submission of Payment Requests.

The contract needs the suppliers to create a Receiving Report, or a combined Receiving and Invoice Report.
