Connecticut Water Selects ViryaNet Workforce Management Solution

Connecticut Water has picked ViryaNet’s (News - Alert) mobile workforce management solution in order to enhance its field service operation. Connecticut Water is a water utilities company.


Craig Patla, Connecticut Water’s director of field services said, “Our business is built on service. ViryaNet’s integrated approach was a significant factor in our selection process. We were looking for a partner that had the tools and the experience to help us enhance productivity while maintaining world-class service delivery to our customers in Connecticut.”

ViryaNet specializes in the provision of software solutions that improve the service processes for mobile workforces. The mobile workforce management solution intelligently guides, automates, and optimizes both simple and complex field service work.

Connecticut Water will be leveraging ViryaNet G4 to facilitate the appointment booking process with customers.

The solution will also help in making optimal schedules for Connecticut Water technicians besides automating and centralizing the scheduling and dispatch operation. ViryaNet G4 streamlines the flow of information from and to the field without the use of paper-based processes, explained officials.

ViryaNet will also integrate the performance management practice of Connecticut Water’s mobile workforce management solution. The utility can now assess current performance levels and improve its services. The performance management feature of ViryaNet G4 helps customers achieve business goals, measure key performance indicators (KPIs), ensure data accuracy, monitor and track progress.

The multi-phase deployment includes integration with asset management, customer information, and outage management systems, as well as field mobility, real-time communication, and scheduling optimization.
