Telestream will be unveiling novel transcoding, workflow and live streaming offerings at the National Association of Broadcasters, or NAB convention. Telestream will be present at Booth SL2605 at NAB 2013, which is scheduled from April 8-11 in Las Vegas.
In a statement, Barbara DeHart, VP of Marketing at Telestream said, “Transcoding has become the key enabler to file-based workflows. Telestream has pioneered general purpose transcoding and is now leading the way in the development of application-specific solutions, designed to meet the needs of distinct workflows. Last year we introduced a Vantage transcoding and workflow solution designed for the distribution of multiscreen content. This year we’re expanding our Vantage family to include a new product that targets the needs of cable and IPTV (News - Alert) workflows.”
Telestream will be unveiling a novel GPU-accelerated video transcoder at NAB 2013. The transcoder has been designed with an aim to computerize content preparation and delivery for cable VOD and IPTV workflows. Telestream in association with Manzanita System has developed the latest Vantage Cable/IPTV transcoder, which offers refined control over Transport Stream multiplexing and metadata. The latest transcoder completely incorporates with the limited Lightspeed technology from Telestream, thereby providing the maximum possible encoding speeds with GPU acceleration.
A technical associate program for Vantage will also be launched by Telestream. OEM associates will be able to widen their presence via the program. Similarly, customers will be able to monetize their information through fresh channels. Associates will now be offered direct control over powerful Vantage transcoding engines via a novel SDK. At the same time, they will be offered complete advantages of Vantage infrastructure administration.
Telestream will also be showcasing its latest fixed-price live video streaming offerings at NAB. These offerings will be based on Telestream Wirecast for Windows live streaming production solutions and Matrox VS4 four-channel video capture card. Sports groups, churches, schools, corporations, and other live event producers will therefore be offered best-in-class, multi-camera live video creations and broadcasting capabilities by these systems.
Wirecast at NAB will also feature dynamic scoreboard technology for real-time sports webcasts. The incorporation of XOS ThunderCloud LiveScore Service with Wirecast Pro for Windows was recently unveiled by Telestream in association with XOS Digital Inc.
