Daptiv has been hiring professionals in software development, sales, support and professional services, as it has been experiencing an increase in the number of customer confirmations in 2012.

Relative to the first half of 2011, the number of bookings has increased by 42 percent in the same period this year.

Gartner, Inc. recently carried out a research study on PPM (News - Alert) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications. Daptiv has been honored with the top position in the Gartner PPM Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Based Project and Portfolio Management Services.

The easy-to-use and cost-effective Daptiv software has resulted in an extraordinary demand for Daptiv’s SaaS (News - Alert)-based PPM solutions, despite a slowdown in the economy. New customers who have chosen Daptiv PPM in the second quarter include AMC Networks, Charter Manufacturing, Pivotal Payments, Seibels Services Group and WhiteWave Foods.

Daptiv’s software is already used by thousands of subscribers in disparate industries like healthcare, education, technology and financial services.

Daptiv is also making news internationally with the launch of a data center in The Netherlands. The facility will meet the company’s customer requirements in Europe, with the Telecom and Integrated Applications (TIA (News - Alert)) directorate of the European Space Agency (ESA) being its first client.

The company has also launched a new office in West London's Holborn area, to be headed by Mark Dallimore.

Daptiv’s market understanding, sales and marketing strategy, and product innovation were evaluated by Gartner (News - Alert), before positioning Daptiv at the top in its research covering PPM SaaS applications. Daptiv has also been named as a finalist in the “Best Project Management Solution in Business Software” category at the Software and Information Industry Association CODiE Awards.
