Interactive Intelligence Extends Reach with TACME Reseller Agreement

By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Interactive Intelligence, a provider of all-software based contact center, business process automation and enterprise unified communications solutions, has signed a reseller agreement that covers the GCC and Mediterranean regions with Technical Art Concepts (TACME), an end-to-end IT solutions provider with an impressive portfolio of clients spanning the corporate and government sectors.

With this agreement in place and Elite partner status – the highest level of participation in the global Interactive Intelligence (News - Alert) partnership program – TACME will offer a full range of services to clients, including consulting, project implementation, technical support, after-sales service and software development.

Shaheen Haque, Territory Manager Middle East and Turkey, Interactive Intelligence said in a statement, "We are very pleased to partner with such a highly regarded and technically proficient company as TACME, having an illustrious base of clients. The Middle East is an important growth market for our company and our strategic plan is to tie up with key partners like TACME who not only have the required technical skills, but are also focused on customer delivery and support and understand the importance of education and training.

“We are confident that Interactive Intelligence's world class IP Telephony, contact center and business process automation solutions combined with TACME's expert technical and service capabilities will provide an excellent solution for customers in this region,” added Haque.

As a result of its Elite status, TACME will undergo a formal 90 day induction program provided by an Interactive Intelligence channel enablement team. The company will also have access to the complete partner portal, gaining the use of tools such as information on Interactive Intelligence’s technology and best practices.

The Skills Development Fund Program is also available and is designed to help offset the cost of any technical training and certifications necessary to market Interactive Intelligence products. TACME will also have access to the marketing development fund (MDF) to drive activities that can help generate demand. The two companies will work closely together on all opportunities.

"Unlike many organizations in the region TACME has expanded its operations in 2010 and a major part of this growth can be attributed to the introduction of best-of-breed products and services to complement our existing end-to-end solutions,” said Moatasem Mohaisen, Group Business Development, TACME. “We have provided business process automation solutions that involve functionalities of a contact center to a number of customers.

“Based on customer feedback as well as market research, we decided we needed to include contact center solutions to our portfolio. After evaluating technologies from several vendors, we were convinced that Interactive Intelligence's revolutionary all-in-one software based unified communications platform was technologically far superior as compared to competition besides being easier to deploy and more cost effective. We are excited by this new partnership which has a real strategic significance for our company. We see a huge potential for Interactive Intelligence's offerings especially in the government and financial sectors,” Mohaisen added.

In August, TMCnet reported that Interactive Intelligence would like to gain better positioning in the New Zealand market and to boost its profile is campaigning with distribution and resale partner Amtel (News - Alert). This effort is combined with the Interaction Process Automation “IPA” software launch in the country.
