Business Phone System from Nuvio Now Includes Inbound Fax Functionality

By Mae Kowalke, TMCnet Associate Editor

Business phone system provider Nuvio (News - Alert) Corporation recently announced the addition of a new feature to its Internet-based phone system. The phone system now includes inbound fax capabilities.

Jason Talley, president and CEO of Nuvio, explained that the application, Personal Fax, was added in response to growth of small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) using Internet-based business phone systems. Nuvio designed Personal Fax to meet the needs of these customers.

“This service allows our customers to receive inbound faxes on any telephone number they use with us and integrates seamlessly into their integrated messaging portal,” Talley said in a statement.

Here’s how the new functionality works: Personal Fax routes faxes to Nuvio’s unified messaging portal, where they are processed. Users have several options regarding how to receive faxes: by e-mail, for viewing on a Web page, or both.

This latest features further strengthens the power of Nuvio’s Internet-based business phone system, nPBX, designed specifically for SMB users.

Nuvio Corporation is a provider of Internet-based business phone systems that use VoIP technology. The company’s customer-developed platform makes possible the delivery of a reliable, stable communications solution that offers customers top-notch uptime.
