Yesterday, TMC hosted an open house here at our Norwalk headquarters. Over fifty companies had representatives in attendance, VBrick (News - Alert), TnT and Cordys among them. We wined, dined, and discussed various tech developments across the different industries.
Catherine Minter, president of Cordys North America, was in attendance. She took a few minutes to sit down and tell us a little bit about what her company has been up to.
Cordys’ software enables organizations to dramatically increase the fluidity of their business process management techniques. The unique combination of BPM and cloud technology in the Cordys platform complements existing enterprise software and adds agility to business operations. And its applications are limitless – BPM is easily applicable across a wide range of industries. According to Catherine, the company can build “any type of custom built application.”
And the ease of integration is notable. Cordys’ software “can link in without coding.”
This flexibility has earned them quite a few clients – some of them being major insurance companies. Cordys’ software is excellent when it comes to case management – their BPM “opens a case from the beginning of every call and tracks all the contacts that have ever been made until the case is closed.”
This is ideal, as you can imagine, from a claims handling standpoint.
And I have to admit, as someone formerly involved in the insurance industry – I was happy to know that someone out there is streamlining business process management within the sector. There is nothing more frustrating for a customer than having to jump through hoops when they are trying to get a claim settled.
We were grateful for the opportunity to have an exclusive interview with Cordys. To learn more about BPM, please see the video interview we had with Catherine below.
