CTI Group, a provider of eBilling, VoIP and mobile telephony applications, has announced the release of the latest version of its communications management solution, Smart Record IP .

The latest version, SmartRecord IP Version 2.0, allows network managers to offer a more complete solution for VoIP communications management and includes a number of new feature functionalities.

Included as part of the latest version, is a completely reinvented user interface as well as the addition of call accounting features like dashboards, alerts and reporting that allow managers to better watch over the telecom usage of their departments. Also, an alert functionality included in the solution makes it possible for organizations to be alerted when heightened situations occur.

"With SmartRecord IP Version 2.0, CTI (News - Alert) Group has identified the need and started down the road of providing a total call management solution, integrating traditional accounting and recording functions. Further, CTI Group has demonstrated the ability to provide Web 2.0 mash-ups with other software as a service (SaaS (News - Alert)) solutions, such as hosted CRM, enabling compelling end-user stories. As a result, the number of use cases for this product has exponentially grown, said Sid Rao, Chief Technology Officer, CTI Group (News - Alert), Inc.

The latest version also includes a number of next generation network enhancements like certified and proven integration with IBM (News - Alert) BladeCenter, increased availability and scalability and an integrated plug-in with external CRM systems. Service providers are also able to integrate their call management and customer support systems with the solution.

"Combined with a solid, carrier-grade underlying hardware and operating platform, CTI Group has truly enabled network operators to deliver key next generation hosted call recording," said Rao.

Last month, CTI Group made headlines when its U.S.-based operations partnered with Broadcore to enable the delivery of its VoIP call recording solution, through BroadSoft's (News - Alert) BroadWorks platform.

In addition, the company also announced the launch of eBilling and Invoice Management Solutions in the U.S. last month which include Dynamic reports and Analysis for electronic billing and online reporting.
