Redknee Signs Multiple Tier-1 MVNO Converged Billing Contracts

Redknee, a leading provider of business-critical billing and charging software and solutions for communications service providers, has signed multiple mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) deals that reiterate Redknee's (News - Alert) successful strategy to support growing operators in APAC, EMEA and the Americas. As per Wireless Intelligence, Redknee's MVNO solution brings greater flexibility and agility for MVNOs to be more competitive as the MVNO market is expected to exceed the number of Mobile Network Operators by 2013.

The flexibility and agility of Redknee's MVNO billing and customer care solution enables MVNOs to take control of the services and promotions they launch and the customer experience they provide. With Redknee, MVNOs can now launch new data services and better target their subscribers due to the increased visibility of its subscribers' usage and the ability to stimulate and reward usage in real-time. The 360 degree view of subscribers provided by Redknee's converged platform enables the service provider to effectively identify cross bundle opportunities, understand subscriber behavior and launch promotions and incentives faster to the market.

In addition, Redknee enables MVNOs to develop market-specific services and pricing strategies, such as per-second billing or 'credit me' options, in order to appeal to different market segments to use revenue-generating services. The subscriber-centric platform also empowers subscribers to manage their own mobile experience through many self-care features, such as balance management and feature bolt-ons. These are critical enhancements for MVNOs that seek to increase Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), customer loyalty and market share growth.

Recently, Redknee was in news when it announced the availability of the latest update to its Enhanced Location Services platform. Enhanced Location Services Platform is Redknee's integrated commercial and emergency location based services platform. The expansion is for Tier 1 operators in North America who should benefit from greater scalability to support their regulatory requirements for emergency services for its commercial based services.
