For the third quarter of 2008, Allot reported record revenues of $9.8 million, a three percent increase over the second quarter of 2008, and an astonishing 40 percent increase over the same period in 2007.
This growth is mainly due to Allot’s continued success in penetrating major wireless operators, which the company sees as a significant growth driver going forward, says Allot’s President and CEO, Rami Hadar (News - Alert).
Allot announced during the third quarter that it had completed eleven large deals with service providers. Five of these represent new customers and six are expansion deals.
“As mobile data traffic continues to increase, our customers are seeking ways to optimize and monetize their costly infrastructure, and Allot's solutions are ideally designed to enable them to meet these goals,” Hadar explained.
With the current weakening economic climate, only time will tell if Allot can maintain revenues and even increase sales during 2009.
