CallFire to Sponsor Mobile Summit Event
By Kelly McGuire, TMCnet Editor
With the evolution of mobile expanding to business operations, thousands of applications and new and improved smart devices, there's no telling what the future of the mobile world will be.
Keeping that in mind, events are taking place all over the world in efforts to be on the heels of all the mobile news, and the May 7th ReadWriteWeb Mobile Summit, will be sponsored by many companies in the industry, including auto dialer and voice broadcast provider CallFire.
At the summit, topics including mobile social networking, geo-location services, and the difference between native applications versus browser-based apps will be discussed.
"Supporting the conversation are an amazing set of sponsors who are not only committed to releasing products that are shaping the future of mobile but also supporting that conversation," company officials said, adding that the first 3 sponsors of the summit - CallFire, Alcatel-Lucent (News - Alert) and World Mate - are all outstanding parts of the program.
The event will spur many company announcements, which will be sure to create quite a stir in the early days of May.
"CallFire will be introducing our very own Richard MacManus for the keynote and has a surprise giveaway for all attendees of the morning keynote - so make sure you arrive early," CallFire officials said.
In addition, the event will include sessions on:
- Commerce & Marketing - as more and more consumers use smartphones, how can businesses utilize this channel?
- Content, Publishing & Recommendations - the technologies and best practices.
- Internet of Things - the emerging opportunities from sensor and RFID data.
- Augmented Reality - the technology and business applications of AR.
