Dell KACE was recently been recognized by Enterprise Management Associates (EMA (News - Alert)) in its Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Radar Report for its appliance deployment process, as well as for being the most economical systems management solution currently on the market.
Dell KACE K Series Appliances boast multiple features including patching, license compliance, imaging and systems provisioning, a help desk and more.
The EMA Radar Report for Client Lifecycle Management provides an analysis of the leading solution suites to guide organizations toward the most effective product set to meet their needs.
Company officials said in a press release that Dell KACE K Series Systems Management (News - Alert) Appliances fulfill the systems management needs of most organizations from initial computer deployment to ongoing management and retirement. In addition, these appliances provide support for heterogeneous environments (Windows, Mac and Linux) and any compatible hardware manufacturers' platforms.
"Value in any systems management solution can be identified by evaluating cost elements versus breadth of functionality and the Dell KACE (News - Alert) Appliances successfully perform well in both criteria," said Steve Brasen, managing research director for EMA, in a statement.
Brasen added that in EMA’s evaluation, Dell (News - Alert) KACE was a clear leader due to its aggressive pricing structure and the deployment solution’s ability to deliver a competitive advantage over comparable software-based platforms.
“While the company has historically focused on small- and medium-sized organizations, we believe the KACE Appliances are poised to become a leading contender in the enterprise space as well," he added.
"Our vision at Dell KACE has always been to provide an appliance-based approach to systems management that is more accessible to systems administrators to save them time, while saving money for their organizations," said Rob Meinhardt, general manager for KACE.
Meinhardt concluded that this vision is proven in thousands of real world customer appliance deployment scenarios and the company is excited to be recognized by EMA for the value that KACE Appliances bring to the market.
