Evident Software a provider of application performance management or APM (News - Alert) for NoSQL, data caching, and Java applications announced the availability of Evident ClearStone 4.6.

According to company sources Evident ClearStone 4.6 is a production-class solution for monitoring and managing all tiers of enterprise applications. ClearStone 4.6 offers new features to help development, operations and support teams to monitor and troubleshoot business-critical applications.

Also ClearStone 4.6 helps engineers to correlate the status of JBoss or WebLogic application servers with other data tiers like Cassandra data caching tier or system-level metrics. This multi-tier correlation enables engineers to identify the reasons behind performance problems, said company sources.

The Operational Health Dashboard in the solution enables engineers to discover the health of application resources. It can find the resource’s health based on system metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs) and the status of events. The Operational Health Dashboard indicates the resource’s health through green, yellow and red indicators, said company officials.

The health indicator supports engineers enabling them to discover the underlying details and to read troubleshooting tips written by the applications developers. ClearStone 4.6 accelerates troubleshooting and helps synergize the efforts of development and operations.

ClearStone 4.6 features fine-grained alerting capability helps developers and operations teams and notifies concerned personnel when certain specific errors or outages occur.
