It’s always exciting when our clients stop by to see us -- today’s visit was no exception.

Jeff Hudgins, vice president of marketing at NEI, came by TMC’s (News - Alert) headquarters here in Norwalk. He sat down with us to talk about what his company has been doing. From what Hudgins revealed, there is no time better than the present as far as NEI is concerned – the company is entering what it considers to be a new era.  And part of that new era is defined by flexibility.

With most of the marketplace shifting towards the cloud, many companies want to make the transition… smoothly. NEI is there to help them by offering a diverse portfolio of deployment services capable of meeting a variety of client requirements.

NEI helps keep ISV’s and OEM’s relevant by looking across the business spectrum, allowing them to deliver service in whatever mode they choose – whether it be through a dedicated infrastructure, a particular platform or a Software as a Service (Saas) option.

And NEI offers more than just a diverse selection of service deployment offerings. It handles the software and the hardware aspects of the switch over to cloud-related deployment – a convenience that should not be overlooked.

“ISV’s and OEM’s with the broadest offerings and most flexible delivery models will be the ones who best succeed,” added Hudgins. “They will have the best advantage.”

One of NEI’s primary focuses at the moment are the telecom-related and converging market industries. Asia, in particular, is experiencing “explosive growth” when it comes to broadband usage – which in turn leads to “tremendous opportunity.”

To gain further leverage, NEI is committed to partnerships with companies like Dell (News - Alert) in order to break into these emerging fronts.

While Hudgins was in our office, he recorded this video:
