NEI (News - Alert), a provider of appliance deployment solutions and support services for software technology developers and OEMs all around the world, has recently become a Gold level member in the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN).
For the company’s role in the Gold level membership in OPN, its global resources, worldwide manufacturing capacity and support functionalities will be made available to meet the growing demand in the telecommunications market, according to a press release.
Hudgins added, “Our global manufacturing and technology support capabilities are ideally suited to helping Oracle (News - Alert) customers integrate and maintain complex telecommunications technologies. NEI offers not only the Oracle communications equipment, but all of the third party hardware and software needed to design and support a complete solution. This includes a complete frame of telecom equipment deployed anywhere in the world.”
“Oracle (SUN) has always had a strong presence in the communications market, and in order to maintain that position, the company needs to work more closely with partners (like NEI) to deliver a complete solution,” Hudgins stated.
OPN was designed to allow independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators, developers, resellers and consultants to work collectively in order to improve customer satisfaction and provide high level solutions. In addition, the release states that OPN gives partners the tools needed to better develop, sell and implement Oracle solutions.
Due to this collaboration with Oracle, NEI will now be able to sell services directly to Oracle to support their strategic customers.
Hudgins concluded, “NEI is already working with top technology providers such as Intel, RadiSys, GE, Kontron (News - Alert), and Dell to support the communications market. By adding Oracle to the mix, we now round out the entire eco-system.”
