911 Enable's Emergency Gateway Completes Interoperability Testing with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 8.5

By Tammy Wolf, TMCnet Web Editor

911 services expert 911 Enable (News - Alert) has revealed that its Emergency Gateway (News - Alert) version 3.3 has completed interoperability verification testing with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 8.5.

A provider of E911 solutions for IP-PBX (News - Alert) systems and long-time Solution Developer member of the Cisco Developer Network, 911 Enable delivers Cisco-certified, highly integrated and comprehensive E911 solutions that can be seamlessly used with Cisco’s (News - Alert) IP communications platforms.

The Emergency Gateway enables users to more rapidly deploy a wide range of Cisco-certified business applications, services or devices that are designed to augment the performance, management and capabilities of their Cisco network.

An on-site appliance that automates and streamlines E911 management for IP telephony systems, the Emergency Gateway automatically finds the exact locations of IP phones, softphones and wireless phones as they are added, moved or removed on a corporate network. In addition, the Emergency Gateway solution offers a comprehensive suite of on-site security notification tools to effectively coordinate amongst rescue groups and decrease response times during emergencies.

911 Enable will be exhibiting its Emergency Gateway Solution in booth No. 1170 at the upcoming Cisco Live event, being held July 10 to 14, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. A premier education and training event for IT, networking and communications professionals, Cisco Live will give attendees the opportunity to meet with other Cisco partners and view their products and solutions.
