The sessions, entitled “Understanding the Proposed E911 Regulations in California,” and “Understanding the Proposed E911 Regulations in Michigan,” will provide a detailed overview of the pending E911 legislation for organizations deploying multi-line telephone systems (MLTS) in those states on July 5 and July 7, respectively.

While MLTS offers organizations added communications features and affordability, it can also produce safety issues when it comes to E911. Both California and Michigan are the latest U.S. states to implement E911 legislation that will enforce organizations using MLTS to follow the requirements and obligations related to E911 support.

Presented by Lev Deich, technical director of 911 Enable, the webinars will offer attendees a comprehensive outline of each state’s pending MLTS E911 legislation, as well as how organizations can easily and cost-effectively meet their unique E911 requirements.

911 Enable recommends organizations with on-premises MLTS systems; resellers/system integrators/consultants offering MLTS systems; and manufacturers of on-premises MLTS systems attend the webinar.

The first webinar focusing on California’s pending E911 legislation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. ET, or 11 to noon PT, on Tuesday, July 5. The second webinar focusing on Michigan’s proposed E911 legislation will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. ET, or 11 to noon PT on Thursday, July 7. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session following each webinar.
