Is Your 911 Services Provider Best of Show and Best in Service?

By Jaclyn Allard, TMCnet Web Editor

A division of Connexon Telecom Inc., 911 Enable (News - Alert), recently exhibited and highlighted its 911 services at ITEXPO East 2011 in Miami Beach, Fla, early in February. Since 2005, 911 Enable has been delivering products and services focused on IP telephony. Currently, the company routes more than 15,000 9-1-1 calls each month and works with more than 1,000 organizations across the United States and Canada. It was no wonder conference attendees were abuzz about 911 Enable’s emergency 911 services on the exhibit floor.

But the hosted 911 services provider left Miami with more than a tan and boost from the hype, it was also honored with the Best of Show award for “Best Service Provider Solution,” an award that recognizes innovative products and solutions featured at ITEXPO (News - Alert) East 2011.

“911 Enable is proud to receive the Best of Show award for Best Service Provider Solution,” said Lev Deich, director of 911 Enable, in a statement. “911 Enable understands the needs of VoIP service providers and we are committed to helping them provide E911 capabilities to their subscribers in the simplest, most efficient manner possible. We’re honored to be recognized for our commitment to E911 within the IP telephony industry.”

911 Enable offers enterprise, education, small and big business, healthcare and government solutions. 911 Enable also automates and simplifies the management tasks associated with E911, since IP phones may be tracked automatically, and comprehensive reporting and monitoring tools are accessible via a dashboard. Today’s security personnel, usually first responders to an incident and familiar faces to an organization, could use simplified 911 services to help them with their management tasks. One of the most useful security desk notification tools offered by 911 Enable is Desk Alert, an optional component of the EGW that alerts security personnel of the precise location of the caller, the caller’s name, callback number, and links to any additional location-specific information that may be of use.

911 services like 911 Enable can better prepare individuals in case something goes awry and can keep them calm in the event that an emergency ensues. Its solutions have been established according to FCC (News - Alert), CRTC, and NENA i2 standards, helping enterprises and service providers reduce liability concerns and meet E911 regulations, according to the company.

“ITEXPO in Miami was one of the best events we’ve ever produced, and this year’s Best-of-Show winners faced an even greater challenge differentiating themselves from a large and highly competitive field,” said Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), CEO and conference chairman for TMC. “We’re proud to honor companies like 911 Enable with a Best-of-Show Award, and we thank them for sharing their innovative solutions with our attendees.”
