Mobile Networks Get a Security and Roaming Upgrade from Syniverse and Cellusys

Mobile network operators, or MNOs, have effectively managed 3G, 4G, 5G, VoLTE and IoT devices for a while (even with limited resources).

To manage these technologies efficiently, MNOs employ various strategies. They optimize their networks to maximize capacity and efficiency, often starting with older technologies and gradually upgrading to newer ones. This phased approach allows them to manage resources effectively.

Additionally, MNOs offer specialized solutions for IoT devices, such as LPWANs and machine-to-machine communication protocols, designed to meet the unique requirements of these devices.

It engages more than 830 MNOs, including 260 with direct connections. Cellusys, on the other hand, has received recognition as one of the leading “steering of roaming provider” by Kaleido and ROCCO, which also named it the best signaling firewall vendor.

Together, Syniverse and Cellusys will accelerate time to market because deploying steering of roaming or firewall solutions through a hosted platform can be achieved more rapidly than an on-premise solution.
