AudioCodes and Tata Teleservices: A Strategic Collaboration for Next-Level Microsoft Teams Voice Calling

By Greg Tavarez April 05, 2024

The modern workplace thrives on seamless communication and collaboration. In today's digital age, businesses turn to cloud-based solutions like Microsoft (News - Alert) Teams to streamline critical processes.

However, integrating reliable voice calling functionalities within these platforms is not always as easy as it seems. At least, that’s how it is without significant UCaaS solutions. UCaaS solutions offer a comprehensive solution that bundles voice, video and other communication features into a single, cloud-based platform.

The Indian market, in particular, is witnessing a rise in Microsoft Teams adoption. This surge in popularity presents a unique opportunity for businesses seeking to enhance their communication infrastructure. The issue with this is ensuring a smooth and cost-effective voice calling experience within Teams. It requires specialized solutions.

To empower businesses in India with an improved Microsoft Teams voice calling experience, AudioCodes, a provider of advanced communications software, products and productivity solutions for the digital workplace, announced a strategic collaboration with Tata Tele Business Services, or TTBS, a provider of unified communications solutions.

To achieve that, TTBS will leverage AudioCodes (News - Alert) Live Platform for Microsoft Teams to deliver Smartflo UCaaS to its enterprise customers. Smartflo UCaaS integrates voice functionality seamlessly within Microsoft Teams, which lets users make and receive calls directly from the familiar Teams interface.

AudioCodes Live Platform, offered as a white-label, multi-tenant SaaS (News - Alert) solution streamlines the process by providing Direct Routing and Operator Connect voice connectivity options on a single platform that integrates seamlessly with TTBS's existing core network.

Additionally, AudioCodes Live Platform offers advanced automation and management tools. This streamlines customer onboarding and lifecycle management. It also boasts a comprehensive suite of add-on voice applications, including solutions for contact centers, call recording, conversational IVRs and meeting productivity.

Further enhancing the collaboration, TTBS integrated the AudioCodes Voca Conversational Interaction Center with Smartflo UCaaS. This cloud-native contact center solution, delivered via AudioCodes Live Platform, provides TTBS customers with a robust set of features, including intelligent call routing, conversational AI, comprehensive analytics and omnichannel support. These functionalities aim to elevate both customer experience and agent productivity.

"We joined forces with Tata Tele Business Services to enable Microsoft Teams Phone (News - Alert) connectivity for their customers in India," said Lior Aldema, Chief Business Officer at AudioCodes. "Our innovative AudioCodes Live Platform and Voca solutions are designed to simplify and accelerate the adoption of Microsoft Teams as a unified communications, collaboration and contact center platform, while offering a superior user and customer experience that provides exceptional business value."

In other words, by leveraging AudioCodes Live Platform, TTBS will be equipped to deliver high-quality, reliable and cost-effective Smartflo UCaaS voice calling capabilities that fosters improved productivity and collaboration for Microsoft Teams users across India.

"With AudioCodes Live Platform and Voca, we can deliver a comprehensive and scalable UCaaS and CCaaS solution that is fully integrated with Microsoft Teams and our core network, while ensuring high voice quality and customer satisfaction,” said Vishal Rally, Senior Vice President – Product and Marketing, Tata Teleservices (News - Alert).
