ITEXPO is nearly upon us, readers! ITEXPO (News - Alert) is part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW experience, taking place from February 13-15 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This year, ITEXPO will see thousands of attendees tuning in to keynote speeches and joining unique breakout sessions, workshops and networking events (while amongst the crowds at the event’s robust exhibit hall – I walked it last year, and trust me when I express how massive it truly is and how many booths there are to visit)! Learn more about all the event’s goings-on and consider registering here.

Ahead of the expo, let’s talk about one of its Diamond sponsors: Intelisys, a ScanSource company.

Intelisys is a well-known technology services provider of business communications services. Working to accelerate the future of IT and how businesses operate, collaborate and ultimately succeed, Intelisys provides access to hardware, software, connectivity and cloud services that businesses need to support successful hybrid workplaces of the future. Additionally, Intelisys’ marketplace experience is designed to scale and provide customers with access to the tools and IT ecosystem resources necessary to maximize growth.

As mentioned, Intelisys is also a ScanSource (News - Alert) company. With specialty technology solutions and modern communications and cloud services, ScanSource has been connecting businesses with cutting-edge tech from some of the world’s leading suppliers for more than 30 years. Across hardware, SaaS (News - Alert), the cloud and more, ScanSource distributes what its partners need so they can deliver solutions for their own customers and address changing end-user buying and consumption patterns, as they go. Some of the vertical markets ScanSource services include government, healthcare, education, retail, finance, manufacturing, education and transportation.

Recently, ScanSource was also named on Fortune’s 2024 list of the World’s Most Admired Companies. (For the eighth consecutive year, to boot.)

According to the official announcement, Fortune collaborated with their partner Korn Ferry and “began with a universe of about 1,500 candidates; the 1,000 largest U.S. companies ranked by revenue, along with non-U.S. companies in the Fortune Global 500 database that have revenues of $10 billion or more.” Fortune then winnowed the assortment down to the highest-revenue companies (per industry), resulting in a total of 660 across 29 countries. The top-rated companies were picked from that pool; ScanSource is, of course, very pleased with its outcome.

“It is an honor to be named once again on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies list and to be included among such highly regarded companies across the globe,” said Mike Baur, Chairman and CEO, ScanSource, Inc. “ScanSource strives to be a trusted partner for our customers and our suppliers, exceeding expectations and building strong relationships through transparency and consistency. I’m proud of our employees and their commitment, this recognition is a testament to their hard work.”
