ITEXPO Exhibitor Fusion Connect Gears Up for Growth and Revamps Leadership

Let’s talk about Fusion Connect.

The ITEXPO 2024 exhibitor stands out prominently in the MSP and managed connectivity provider, targeting mid-market and enterprise businesses. Their primary mission is to facilitate global connections among people, data and devices through a suite of customized communication and connectivity solutions.




In terms of communication, Fusion Connect (News - Alert) provides UCaaS with features like voice, video, messaging, and collaboration tools. Additionally, they offer Microsoft Teams Calling Services, and their CCaaS enhances customer service capabilities through cloud-based call center technology.

Another top priority for Fusion Connect is security, and they offer endpoint management to secure laptops, desktops and mobile devices, along with edge security to protect network perimeters from unauthorized access and malware.

Their strengths lie in their focus on mid-market and enterprise clients, understanding the unique needs and challenges of larger businesses. With a broad range of services covering communication, connectivity, and security, Fusion Connect offers a comprehensive portfolio to address various business requirements.

These are things we see from the outside. But internally, Fusion Connect is also going through some changes.

First is the retirement of Mario DeRiggi, Chief Revenue Officer. DeRiggi has been an integral part of the company's journey with his expertise and dedication. His contributions have shaped Fusion Connect's trajectory, and his legacy of excellence and leadership will leave a lasting impact.

And Pieter Uittenbogaard will take on the role of Executive Vice President of Growth and Strategy where he will manage direct sales, channel sales, account management, solution engineering, and sales operations. He will report directly to CEO Brian Crotty. Uittenbogaard will continue to spearhead the company's ongoing Microsoft (News - Alert) expansion and sales enablement strategy.

To further its commitment to growth and partnership development, Fusion Connect welcomed David Kula as Vice President, Head of Global Direct Sales, and Jeff Winnett as Vice President, Head of Global Channel Sales.

Kula brings more than 20 years of sales leadership experience from roles at Sungard Availability Services and Microsoft. His expertise is expected to be a driving force in Fusion Connect's ambition to become one of the leading Microsoft Operator Connect partners in North America.

Winnett has a history of success from his tenure as Vice President of North America Partner Sales at RingCentral and from previous roles at Honeywell and Vonage (News - Alert). He is recognized for his skills in developing partner relationships and driving revenue growth and is expected to bolster Fusion Connect's growth and partnership strategies.

"Mario has committed to work closely with me, Pieter and the Fusion Connect leadership team to ensure seamless transition for our teams, partners, and customers," said Crotty. "With Pieter leading our go-forward strategy, and David and Jeff joining us, we are set to deepen our client and partner engagement.
