2bcloud Powers Tadiran Telecom's Cloud Transformation

By Stefania Viscusi December 21, 2023

In a move to push for a real, better digital future, multi-cloud managed service provider 2bcloud has announced the successful cloud transformation of Tadiran (News - Alert) Telecom.

Recognizing the paradigm shift brought about by the cloud revolution, Tadiran Telecom knew it needed to modernize its legacy systems and solutions. The company has been in the telecommunications industry for more than 60 years and currently has a global presence across 41 countries. It wanted to transition from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud as it saw a giant need for scalability, agility, heightened security, as well as a commitment to better environmental responsibility.

By partnering with 2bcloud (a Microsoft (News - Alert) Azure specialist, to boot), the company was able to move its entire suite of communication technologies and seamlessly align with its sustainability goals by incorporating green technology principles.

During the implementation phase, skilled engineers of 2bcloud and Tadiran Telecom synchronized the migration of data, applications, and services. Throughout the process, operational continuity remained a top priority. Rigorous testing of the new Azure-based infrastructure was conducted to guarantee peak performance and security.

Thousands of Tadiran users worldwide, including mission-critical users of their cloud-based call centers, have seamlessly transitioned to Azure without any interruption of service. Leveraging Tadiran's cloud delivery model, which consolidates unified communication services such as collaboration and video conferencing into a single platform, users can integrate seamlessly with other organizational applications and platforms like customer relationship management (CRM), Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.

The migration to Azure has provided Tadiran with newfound scalability, allowing for flexible resource adjustments that enhance overall cost efficiency. The robust infrastructure of Azure also ensures high availability and reliability, aligning seamlessly with Tadiran's unwavering commitment to delivering superior service. In terms of security, the advanced features within Azure have significantly fortified Tadiran's defenses against cyber threats.

Tadiran said it now enjoys seamless communication with its regional offices and customers worldwide, facilitated by GEO Redundancy between major Azure locations and the establishment of a new Azure cloud in Israel.
