Netcracker Announces Integration with Amazon Bedrock for Generative AI

By Stefania Viscusi December 14, 2023

Netcracker Technology has announced a significant step forward in advancing the application of generative artificial intelligence (AI, or GenAI) in the telecom industry with the integration of its recently launched GenAI Telco Solution with Amazon Bedrock.

With this strategic move, CSPs have access to the expanded capabilities of generative AI foundational models through a unified Amazon Bedrock API.

The Amazon Bedrock tool from Amazon takes advanced models from top AI companies and lets other developers use them through an API. It also provides tools to assist developers in creating and expanding applications that use generative AI, making the process more manageable.

This latest integration helps improve these AI models by adding up-to-the-minute data specifically from telecom systems that support business and operations.

Netcracker's GenAI Telco Solution uses smart technology to find helpful customer information and has market-ready use cases including a digital care assistant, B2B sales adviser, digital operations technician, and service design creator. These ideas quickly help telecom companies by using smart tech to improve how they respond to user needs.

Now, with the Amazon Bedrock integration, the generative AI models accessed through the API provide high-quality responses while safeguarding sensitive telecom data from exposure on public networks.

Integrating generative AI smoothly into different parts of the telecom business, along with access to specific industry data, enables CSPs to boost workforce productivity, automate more tasks, and cut down significantly on call center expenses.

“Netcracker is delighted to expand our GenAI Telco Solution with Amazon Bedrock integration to further the transformational value of generative AI to the telecom industry,” said Bob Titus, CTO at Netcracker. “Our market-driven use cases will leverage Bedrock to help CSPs drive better customer experiences and streamline their internal operations.”

Be part of the discussion about the latest trends and developments in the Generative AI space at Generative AI Expo, taking place February 13-15, 2024 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Generative AI Expo discusses the evolution of GenAI and feature conversations focused on the potential for GenAI across industries and how the technology is already being used to create new opportunities for businesses to improve operations, enhance customer experiences, and create new growth opportunities.
