Snom Americas Strengthens Market Presence through Compatibility for 17 Telephony Platforms

By Greg Tavarez November 29, 2023

Snom, recognized as a trailblazer and a prominent name in the realm of professional and enterprise VoIP phones, stands out by offering a comprehensive range of telecommunication products that are designed to enhance the overall business user experience.

The extensive product lineup from Snom encompasses various features and functionalities tailored to meet the diverse needs of businesses. For example, Snom's VoIP phones deliver a high level of communication capabilities as well as a user-friendly interface.

To top it off, the strategic distribution through trusted partners ensures that these telecommunication solutions reach businesses across North America, while the localized training and support emphasize Snom's dedication to providing a well-supported experience for users in the professional and enterprise sectors.

Strengthening its market presence, Snom Americas, the North and South American subsidiary of Snom, recently extended its comprehensive support to a total of 17 telephony platforms. This broad spectrum includes major providers such as 3CX, Asterisk, Cisco Broadworks and Zoom Phone (News - Alert), among others.

Through this strategic collaboration with various telephony platform providers, Snom Americas ensures compatibility of its complete range of desktop SIP devices and wireless DECT phone systems with an extensive array of telephony platforms throughout the Americas.

Snom Americas (News - Alert)' desktop SIP devices include color desksets, cordless phones and headsets. The wireless DECT phone systems, on the other hand, offer a range of features such as seamless handover from base station to base station or repeater, wideband voice and easy hold feature

Certifying these devices for use on each platform guarantees telephony resellers and their clients that Snom products are not only compatible but also often facilitate hassle-free implementation, with features like Zero-Touch Provisioning, across the diverse platforms supported.

ZTP, as an example, is a process that automatically configures devices without manual intervention. It helps IT teams quickly deploy network devices in large-scale environments, and it eliminates the need for on-site visits and manual setup, which improves deployment efficiency and reduces labor costs

“Our expansive compatibility with the industry’s leading platforms positions Snom as the go-to choice for service providers and resellers seeking reliable, high-quality VoIP phones,” said Marc Magliano, Vice President, Channel Business for the Americas, for Snom Americas. “We offer a range of devices that not only meet but exceed the requirements and certification standards of the many diverse Internet telephony service platforms that provide the ITSPs and resellers with the telephone services they supply to millions of customers across the Americas.”

The initiative taken by Snom Americas to integrate with such a wide range of telephony platforms further shows its commitment to offering versatile and customer-centric services across the telecommunications ecosystem.
