ITEXPO Exhibitor Telinta Upgrades Virtual Office for ITSPs to Better Serve Small Home-Based Businesses

By Greg Tavarez August 22, 2023

Existing traditional phone systems can prove inefficient and costly for international calls, resulting in elevated communication expenses. These systems usually lack the scalability and features necessary to support a company’s needs, such as video conferencing for cross-border team meetings and integration with customer relationship management (CRM) software to streamline client interactions.

Faced with these challenges (and recognizing the need for a cost-effective, versatile and future-ready communication solution), companies actively seek strong VoIP solutions. By implementing VoIP technology, they aim to enhance global connectivity, reduce expenses and optimize collaboration among their geographically dispersed workforce, improving overall operational efficiency and client engagement.

In the VoIP space, one company that helps service providers deliver VoIP solutions to businesses of all sizes (especially to SMBs) is Telinta, a provider of white label cloud-based switching and billing solutions.

Telinta (News - Alert) offers cloud-based solutions that mitigate the need for extensive upfront investments. The company fosters adaptability and scalability, streamlines operations, and enhances billing precision. Telinta, with its many offerings, also expedites service deployment, supports global outreach, and ensures high service quality.

That said, one of its flagship offerings is its Virtual Office solution.

Telinta's Virtual Office is a hosted PBX (News - Alert) solution that allows users to customize their own personal VoIP solution by navigating through brandable self-service web portals, selecting the features and capabilities they need. Unlike other VoIP solutions, however, Virtual Office does not require IP phones or an ATA and can be used with existing landline and mobile phones. It can also easily be used with any of Telinta’s brandable mobile, desktop and web-based softphone solutions.

This week, Telinta announced new capabilities for the solution.

One feature is automated configuration to streamline the creation of new customer accounts. This feature eliminates the need for manual setup, reducing the risk of errors and accelerating the onboarding of new clients.

A second feature provides links to easily download Telinta’s brandable Desktop Softphone for Windows and Mac. The softphone supports a wide range of communication features, including voice calls, video calls, instant messaging, and presence status. The versatile tool also allows users to put their own branding elements, such as logos and color schemes, directly into the softphone interface. This helps create a consistent and professional image while enhancing customer loyalty and trust.

The third feature provides new permissions for read-only admins. These permissions are typically configured by system administrators or account owners to ensure that read-only admins can access relevant information without compromising data integrity or security.

“Telinta strives to continuously innovate, enhancing our VoIP solutions to help our customers win and retain highly profitable business users,” said Alex Ferdman, Telinta’s CEO.  “Virtual Office is a unique solution offering the utmost in customization, both for VoIP service providers and for their end users.”

Virtual Office is provided by Telinta to ITSPs and their resellers around the world via the company’s cloud-based TeliCore softswitch and billing platform. Telinta also provides a free “Try Me” demo of Virtual Office.

Telinta is an exhibitor of ITEXPO 2024.
