Susan G Komen Turns to RingCentral for Communications Overhaul

By Luke Bellos October 28, 2021

Cloud communications leader RingCentral has revealed the Susan G Komen® Foundation, one of the largest breast cancer research organizations in the world, will now utilize RingCentral’s (News - Alert) communications suite for all business activity.

Like many other organizations over the last two years, Susan G Komen® employees have been forced to adapt to the new working conditions brought on by the pandemic. Foundation leaders opted for completely remote setups, allowing workers to remain active while safely distanced at home. To make this transition, Susan G Komen® executives have integrated RingCentral MVP™ (Message Video Phone (News - Alert)™) and RingCentral Contact Center™ to provide workers with the necessary communications tools to work effectively from any location.

As a result of incorporating RingCentral’s solutions for employee activity, the foundation will now save a significant amount on operational costs, which will enable more funding to go toward critical breast cancer research, patient support, and awareness campaigns.

“RingCentral gives us so much mobility and freedom. If I’m on a call or a RingCentral Video meeting on my laptop, and I need to run an errand, I can just switch the call to my mobile phone and head out. It’s fantastic for keeping us all productive and connected without tying us to our desks—or tying us anywhere for that matter,” said Carlos Soto, hosted system administrator for Susan G. Komen. “The best part of being able to go 100% remote is that we can better invest that money into furthering our fight against breast cancer. I’ve never seen a more win-win situation for our organization.”
