Ecosmob Offers One-Hour Installation of Conferencing Platform During Coronavirus Pandemic

By Erik Linask March 26, 2020

As the coronavirus continues to spread across the globe, businesses are faced with a new reality that requires them to support teleworking capabilities for employees.  Though the circumstances mandating this change in strategy are terrible as the number of infections globally continues to rise, the tech community is stepping up to ensure employees are able to function from their homes and businesses can remain operational.

But they can’t do it without the technology.  SMBs, in particular, may face a challenge adapting to this new normal due to limited resources that have precluded them from adapting remote working technologies previously.

“Coronavirus is a grave threat and the authorities rightly advise people about social distancing and to work from home,” notes an executive at VoIP provider and ITEXPO (News - Alert) exhibitor Ecosmob.  “It is all very well from them to say so, but how are employees going to be able to translate that into reality?”

Ecosmob is supporting the SMB community and has committed to getting conferencing systems up and running for them in less than an hour, to minimize disruption to operations and allow employees to continue to collaborate internally and with customers as quickly as possible.

“As it is, times are hard due to the coronavirus and we do not want to make it harder on anyone,” the executive added.  “Our conferencing software ensures continuity of work and productivity.”

Ecosmob’s conferencing service can be deployed for any business globally – all they need is an internet connection.  The company will implement the conferencing solution and give short training to business owners, managers and employees on how to use the software’s features to ensure they are able to work productively with their teams, partners, and customers from their homes.

The system includes a WebRTC-based based audio and video conferencing accessible through any compatible browser on PCs or smartphones, and can integrate with corporate directories and client databases for simple communication with customers and colleagues.  Users can also exchange documents, send and receive emails or SMS, among other integrated productivity features.

Ecosmob says it is “fully committed to fighting coronavirus and this special offer is aimed at business owners who wish to keep their businesses running and also to keep their employees safe.”

It’s a crazy time out there, and many businesses are still not functioning remotely because they don’t have the right solutions in place.  In addition to its rapid deployment conferencing solution, Ecosmob offers a full range of UC, contact center, and PBX (News - Alert) solutions that can help businesses adjust to this new workstyle – something most companies should be doing anyway, to accommodate the flexibility needed for today’s mobile and remote workforces.

ITEXPO has always offered businesses the opportunity to learn and about and see firsthand the latest business technologies that are driving innovations in business communications and collaboration.  Part of the TechSuperShow, ITEXPO, along with many of its collocated events, is coming to the brand new Miami Beach Convention Center, June 22-25, 2021.  Along with MSP ExpoSD-WAN ExpoFuture of Work Expo, and more, ITEXPO offers an unprecedented opportunity for education and networking for   Enterprises and MSPs, service providers and carriers, MSPs, and channel partner to explore the latest technologies that are driving business success.
