Snom Americas' New SVP of Sales Set to Unify Growth Across Enterprise VoIP and Hospitality in the US & CALA

By Erik Linask September 05, 2025

VTech Communications has promoted Chad M. Collins to Senior Vice President of Sales for Snom and VTech Hospitality in the United States and CALA regions.  The move places a seasoned, 28-year industry leader at the helm of a combined go-to-market effort spanning enterprise VoIP endpoints and hospitality solutions – two portfolios that increasingly intersect across hotels, mixed-use properties, and distributed enterprises.

“We are thrilled to recognize Chad's dedication and remarkable achievements with this well-deserved promotion,” said Hillson Cheung, President of Telecommunications Products at VTech.  “Chad brings an unparalleled depth of experience and a proven track record of success in both the Enterprise and the Hospitality industry.

In addition to elevating a leader with more than a decade of experience at Vtech (News - Alert), the move underscores the company’s commitment to its enterprise VoIP phones business through its Snom brand.

Vendor consolidation, shifting post-pandemic guest expectations, and the modernization of property communications are reshaping both enterprise and hospitality buying cycles.  With a single senior leader overseeing sales for Snom and VTech Hospitality in the Americas, VTech signals a tighter alignment of channel strategy, product education, and customer engagement.  For partners, that can translate into clearer roadmaps, unified programs, and cross-selling opportunities across different product categories – from business desk phones and cordless DECT (News - Alert) solutions to hospitality-specific endpoints tailored for guest rooms, front desks, and back-of-house operations.

Collins is overseeing a regional market where property development, renovation cycles, and cloud telephony adoption are fueling demand for modern endpoints.  He is expected to focus on strengthening key partnerships, expanding market share, and leading a high-performing sales team to support both near-term pipeline and longer-term channel growth.

Prior to the promotion, Collins served as Vice President of Sales, VTech Hospitality, Americas, where his team helped deliver significant growth in the hospitality vertical. Notably, he also introduced VTech into the HVAC controls industry, positioning the brand as a credible contender in a complementary market that values reliability, low-touch deployment, and lifecycle support.  That diversification underscores a broader sales approach that looks beyond traditional silos to opportunities where voice, controls, and property technologies converge.

“I am honored and excited to take on this new challenge,” Collins said.  “Snom and VTech Hospitality are well-positioned for continued success, and I look forward to working closely with our talented teams and partners to drive innovation and deliver exceptional value to our customers throughout the Americas.”
