On its Quest to Transform Enterprise IT, Atomicwork Secures $25M in Series A Funding

By Alex Passett January 28, 2025

A quick question to get this ball rolling, readers:

How exactly does Atomicwork, well, work?

For that answer, let’s survey testimonies from those Atomicwork has served.

Ryder Hampton, Head of Technology and Enterprise Services at consumer finance company Pepper Money, described how Atomicwork, quote, “is a valuable partner in our journey towards world-class IT operations.” Pepper Money’s team was able to deploy and replace a number of incumbent solutions within six weeks; moving to Atomicwork reduced their TCO, and they quickly watched significant improvements unfold across ticket deflection, self-service, and employee experience.

Karthik Chakkarapani, SVP of Corporate Operations and CIO of software and subscription management company Zuora (News - Alert), explained in detail how, quote, “With Atomicwork’s modern services and agentic AI platform, we are transforming the digital workplace experience. Our employees now enjoy instance support, seamless information access, and automated service workflows. This drives faster resolutions, enhances productivity, and fosters a smarter, more connected workplace.”

Syachfri Tjhia, Head of IT at education technology (EdTech) and digital teaching and learning company Catalyst Education, stated that Atomicwork, quote, “improved visibility into our operations, helped us see where we were overstretched or underutilized, identified performance gaps and enabled us to use our resources with greater confidence.” Tjhia added how, with Atomicwork, “everyone — whether in finance, IT or HR — is finally speaking the same language and is using the same workflows, processes, and tools.”

You get the idea. With its always-on agentic AI and a veritable cornucopia of enterprise workflow solutions, Atomicwork manages, automates, and altogether simplifies IT so service teams can achieve more.

And speaking of achievements, we have a super-relevant one to cover here:

This morning, Atomicwork announced having successfully raised $25 million in a Series A funding round. This was led by Khosla Ventures and Z47, with additional participation from Battery Ventures, Blume Ventures, and Peak XV Partners.

According to the official announcement, this new infusion of capital, quote, “accelerates Atomicwork's mission to transform IT service management (ITSM) with its innovative AI-native platform that modernizes how businesses operate and drive growth.”

“We are pioneering agentic service management to transform how companies manage their IT workflows and enterprise services,” said Vijay Rayapati, co-founder and CEO of Atomicwork. “This investment is a significant milestone, validating our vision of a future where smarter IT teams drive business growth and companies are empowered by technology, not bogged down by it. Our unified and adaptive self-service experience will enable businesses to move faster.”
