Explore Cybersecurity in a Mobile and Cloud Era at ITEXPO 2025

The "mobile-first, cloud-first" paradigm is a fundamental shift in how technology is designed, developed and utilized. It prioritizes mobile devices as the primary computing platform and uses the cloud for scalable and accessible computing resources. This shift is driven by the increasing ubiquity of smartphones and tablets, the growing reliance on remote work and collaboration and the need for businesses to adapt to evolving consumer expectations.




In a mobile-first world, user experiences are optimized for smaller screens and touch interfaces. Applications are designed to be responsive and adaptable to various screen sizes, ensuring seamless functionality across devices. This focus on mobile accessibility has led to the rise of mobile-first design principles, which prioritize simplicity, clarity, and ease of use.

The cloud-first approach enables organizations to deliver services and applications more efficiently and cost-effectively. By offloading computing resources to the cloud, businesses scale their operations, reduce infrastructure costs and improve reliability. Cloud-based solutions also offer greater flexibility and agility to allow organizations to quickly adapt to changing business needs and market conditions.

When combined, we get mobile devices powered by cloud-based services. They offer unprecedented access to information, communication and productivity tools. With that said, the mobile- and cloud-first world introduces new cybersecurity challenges.

Mobile devices are often less secure than traditional desktops. Cloud environments, while offering scalability and flexibility, are targets for attacks, such as data breaches, ransomware and DDoS attacks. Additionally, the increased interconnectedness of devices and systems creates new attack vectors.

During “Cybersecurity in a Mobile- and Cloud-first World,” taking place from 1:00-1:45 p.m. February 13, 2025, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, during ITEXPO 2025, explore the unique challenges and threats facing organizations in today's mobile- and cloud-first world. Attendees and the panel will also explore best practices for protecting sensitive data, mitigating risks and complying with industry regulations.

As for channel partners, they will learn how to position themselves as trusted cybersecurity advisors to their customers. They can explore ways to assess their clients' security needs, recommend appropriate solutions and implement and manage solutions more effectively.
