Phonism and CallTower Partner to Automate Cloud Communication

By Stefania Viscusi September 03, 2024

Phonism, a provider of automated device management, announced a partnership with CallTower (News - Alert) that aims to transform how businesses go from traditional telephony to cloud-based communication systems using its advanced automation platform.

As per the partnership, CallTower integrated Phonism’s technology into its operations to enhance operational efficiency and security for businesses. The partnership simplifies the complex process of migrating to cloud-based solutions and reduces the associated costs.

Phonism’s automation platform simplifies the large-scale deployment, management, and security of devices, which offers the flexibility businesses need to efficiently handle a wide variety of devices and Unified Communications (News - Alert) as a Service (UCaaS) platforms.

With the growing trend of bring-your-own-device (BYOD) policies for flexible work environments, the platform also supports these capabilities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. It’s also compatible with many device types and firmware versions so businesses have up to five times more options than traditional systems.

Thanks to the automated device deployment and configuration capabilities, it also reduces the need for manual oversight, speeding up service delivery and enhancing overall efficiency.

This level of automation leads to significant cost savings. By streamlining the setup process, it can cut onboarding time and costs by up to 100 times, while reducing labor expenses by as much as 75%-95%. This efficiency frees up resources for businesses to focus on strategic initiatives rather than operational hurdles.

The platform also offers security measures to prevent unauthorized access and help businesses manage risks, ensuring they remain compliant with industry standards and internal policies.

"We are thrilled to introduce Phonism's multi-vendor/third-party device management solution to retain your customer's current devices," said CallTower CRO William Rubio. "This innovative solution significantly enhances our Webex Calling offering, providing our partners and customers with a streamlined, secure, and cost-effective way to manage their diverse list of devices such as Avaya, Mitel, Yealink (News - Alert), Poly, Grandstream, and other devices on the Webex platform while making the move to the cloud. This addition underscores our commitment to delivering best-in-class communication solutions that drive productivity and growth for businesses of all sizes."
