Driving Telecom Growth: Expert Insights from SkySwitch Vectors 2024

By Alex Passett April 15, 2024

A hearty howdy to y’all, fine readers. (It’s funny because that’s more or less how I typically speak anyway, but it also happens to fit right in with our current Athens-of-the-South sort of vibe.)

Some context, for those unaware: Our team is currently in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee where SkySwitch Vectors 2024 — the annual signature event for white-label UCaaS resellers — is vibrantly underway. (Read our initial Vectors coverage here.)

This morning, attendees took their seats in the Symphony Ballroom of the JW Marriott Hotel in downtown Nashville as SkySwitch’s Chief Marketing Officer Paula Como Kauth (alongside TMCnet’s very own Group Editorial Director Erik Linask (News - Alert)) took the stage to welcome everyone and thank them for dedicating the time to join this year’s conference. As emcee, Linask laid out the many content-rich goings-on of SkySwitch Vectors 2024; networking opportunities, time-saving business acceleration tools, conference improvements that were made this year after receiving plenty of fresh partner feedback, and some special teasers from the SkySwitch team.

The long-story-short of it? If you aren’t at SkySwitch’s event this year, we highly encourage registering for what’s in store in 2025.

Following this introduction, an informative sponsored session began. The sponsor was GreenStar Marketing, and the session’s speaker was GreenStar’s Solutions Specialist Donna Renee.

GreenStar Marketing is a boutique marketing agency with a strong focus on the communications sector; more specifically, SaaS (News - Alert), MSPs, ITSPs, CSPs, telecom, cable and so on. And as a veteran of the telecom arena, Renee covered a variety of GreenStar’s proven successes, as well as a handful of marketing musts for attendees to be aware of.

Here’s a short breakdown of who GreenStar Marketing has worked with, and the results therein:

  • After receiving support from GreenStar, NetSapiens saw a 142% increase in leads.

  • NTS (News - Alert) Direct experienced a 95% increase in organic clicks, leading to a 247% increase in impressions in just one year.

  • Axxess Networks saw a 70% increase in web traffic with organic search.

  • Yabbit, an Australia-based company, was able to reach new demographics after implementing GreenStar’s go-to-market strategies.

Renee went on to detail other valuable statistics, like how “45% of a buyer’s time is spent vetting you and your business online,” how only “7% of a buyer’s time is actually then spent talking with the sales rep,” and how “84% of B2B execs use social media channels as a definitive source for key purchasing decisions.”

“A clear buyer’s journey,” Renee said, “backed by a quality website, personal thought leadership and engaging calls-to-action will absolutely make a difference for your business.”
