Telinta, Commio Partner to Serve the Needs of ITSPs

By Greg Tavarez April 09, 2024

Businesses have shown a growing interest in VoIP services, and advancements in communication technology are making it easier. This is likely due to VoIP's advantages; it uses the internet for calls (which can be cheaper than traditional phone lines), and it often integrates features like video conferencing and call forwarding.

As communication technology improves, VoIP systems become more reliable and feature rich. In fact, while on the topic of communication technology improving, two respected companies in the industry have joined forces to provide a comprehensive solution for VoIP service providers.

Telinta, a provider of cloud-based softswitch solutions and a long-time exhibitor of ITEXPO (News - Alert), and Commio, a prominent cloud voice and messaging API platform, announced a joint promotion designed to empower VoIP service providers.

The collaboration leverages Telinta (News - Alert)'s TeliCore softswitch platform with Commio's inbound and outbound calling capabilities. This allows VoIP service providers to offer a wider range of services, including hosted PBX (News - Alert), SIP Trunking, various VoIP options, WebRTC, Calling Cards and Pinless calling.

The joint promotion also offers enticing benefits for Telinta and Commio customers. Telinta customers will receive 1,000 free minutes of outbound calling courtesy of Commio. Beyond its extensive inventory of readily available DIDs and U.S.-based hosted voice services, Commio boasts global voice coverage. Conversely, Commio customers signing up for Telinta's softswitch and/or billing services will enjoy a $400 discount during their first month.

“Telinta works closely with valued partners like Commio to offer the best technology solutions for our mutual customers, as well as the best value,” said Alex Ferdman, Telinta CEO. “Telinta customers can easily configure Commio’s outbound calling and DIDs as part of the services they offer via our cloud-based platform.”

Telinta's TeliCore platform integrates switching, billing and customer management functionalities. This provides a comprehensive solution for VoIP service providers. Telinta customers can seamlessly purchase Commio DIDs through a convenient API incorporated into TeliCore. Furthermore, Telinta offers comprehensive training and 24/7 live technical support.

“Ensuring call quality and deliverability is critical to the success of a VoIP service provider’s business,” said Eric Leon, Commio Vice President of Sales. “Commio voice plus Telinta’s carrier-grade softswitch solutions are a winning combination and the perfect symbiotic relationship for the telecom industry.”

To educate potential customers, both companies will host a free webinar specifically for ITSPs on April 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM EDT. During the webinar, Commio will showcase its unique feature that enables customers to select carriers for routing inbound traffic to Direct Inward Dialing numbers. This redundancy ensures minimal disruption in case a single carrier experiences an outage, as Commio can reroute traffic to a different carrier within minutes.

Telinta will focus on their TeliCore platform and highlight its white-label solutions. This empowers service providers to establish their own VoIP businesses with customized branding and pricing structures.

Through this collaboration between Telinta and Commio, VoIP service providers are better equipped with robust solutions and enhanced capabilities that benefit their customers with a wider range of high-quality services.
