AVANT's Lydecker: 'You Fall Behind if You Do Not Evolve at the Speed of the Market'

By Greg Tavarez February 16, 2024

AVANT, a premier distributor of next-generation technologies and a Diamond sponsor of ITEXPO 2024, has the resources and relationships needed to successfully navigate the world of communications and IT infrastructure. AVANT specializes in technology and infrastructure consulting, solution selection and service implementation. Its main goal is to set the industry standard for knowledge and navigation of the global technology marketplace.

Today, AVANT is living by this phrase: “Evolocity, the Future is Here.” Drew Lydecker, president and co-founder, AVANT, spoke during a keynote presentation at ITEXPO 2024 to elaborate on what that means for the enterprise.

“If you are not evolving, you are dying,” said Lydecker. “And if you are not doing it at the speed that the market is happening, you are falling behind. We have to think bigger. We have to work harder to truly understand what is taking place.”

Lydecker then brought up the fact that everyone has limited boundaries as well as invisible ships within business and personal lives. He gave a personal example when doctors missed his son’s diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes.

“But that didn’t stop him. He persevered and continued his dream,” said Lydecker. “The limits you put on yourself are just you and no one else. Ask yourself this. Are you doing everything possible to change?”

Think limitless, become limitless.

“You can’t just believe you have to become; you have to surround yourself with the ones that are running the fastest to push yourself,” said Lydecker.

2024 is the year where everything is rapidly changing, and all can take advantage of it. To do that, Lydecker stressed to have belief.

“If I can think it, I can do it,” said Lydecker. “If you do not believe that you will be part of the AI revolution, it will pass you by.”

Avant exists to create that leverage. For example, Pathfinder, powered by Avant, is customer-focused. AVANT’s new Pathfinder 2.0 allows users to enhance their knowledge and guide their clients through the complexities of next-gen enterprise technology. This is achieved by using customer-facing tools already available and being added consistently.

“Are you challenging yourself today? Do you value every single minute of the day. Are you letting it rip by?” asked Lydecker.

Think about that when looking to evolve your enterprise.
