Remote. It's ScreenView Provides Seamless Connectivity for Remote Teams, Android Devices and More

By Alex Passett February 13, 2024

Well, it’s officially begun — the doors of ITEXPO (News - Alert) are opening this morning, folks!

From February 13-15 here at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, thousands of attendees will be filing in to engage in sponsored networking events, keynote presentations, workshops and much more. (Lest we forget the massive exhibition hall with what feels like hundreds of booths to stop at. If you’re considering registering, read here for more information.)

As people settle in and determine which panel discussions and other sessions they’ll be attending, I wanted to take a moment to share some additional IT-centric news with you all. It concerns Remote. It and its teams that take on eliminating traditional headaches associated with network management and, subsequently, its bona fide reimagining via software to further safeguard critical resources.

The long-story-short of it? Optimizing SaaS (News - Alert)-based network management is their M.O.

And recently, Remote. It announced the release of Screenview, its white-labeled solution for remote screen-sharing capabilities.

According to the official announcement, “ScreenView brings unparalleled remote access and visibility to IT professionals and IoT/device manufacturers. With ScreenView, support teams have the ability to view and control Android (News - Alert) devices from any browser (any PC or mobile device). In addition to effortless connectivity and security, IoT and device manufacturers add their own branding to ScreenView for the ability to make available to their own customers, generating additional revenue streams.”

As of this story’s publication, key features of ScreenView include the following:

  • Browser-Based Interaction: Connect to any Android device from a browser without additional remote viewing software.

  • Multiple Concurrent Connections: Supports multiple users connecting at the same time.

  • Remote Control & Keyboard Access: Go beyond viewing — fully control your device remotely, including keyboard input.

  • Comprehensive Access Management: Choose to grant viewing or complete control, with real-time visibility on connections.

  • Robust Security Framework: Leveraging Remote. It's Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), ScreenView ensures granular access control and least privileged user access.

Given what we’ve seen, ScreenView seems like a valuable tool for at-home medical equipment and monitoring, on-site construction equipment, customer kiosks, transportation and logistics devices, agricultural sensors, and in energy and critical infrastructure sectors and much more.

Per Ryo Koyama, Remote.It’s CEO:

“Mobile technologies are fundamentally networked, but legacy networking approaches and technologies require ongoing management and maintenance to enable connectivity. With our connectivity as code technology, we've reinvented remote desktop and support for Android devices. Remote. It Screen View works just like the internet, point your browser at your Android device and connect, no app to download, no IP addresses to configure, secure and private through code, the way it should be.”

Learn about IT, the Internet of Things, 4G/5G/6G, the future of CX and plenty more at ITEXPO 2024, part of the 25th anniversary of the #TECHSUPERSHOW experience. Attendees include influential purchasing decision-makers from enterprises of all shapes and sizes, as well as MSPs and CSPs, channel and industry vendors on the expo floor, and others interested in next-gen business technologies.
