ITEXPO Keynoter Webex by Cisco Brings Peerless Network into Webex Calling's Cloud Connect Program

By Greg Tavarez February 02, 2024

Remember the days of clunky phone lines and siloed communication tools? Those days are practically gone because of cloud-based solutions, where integration and flexibility reign supreme. As businesses migrate their workflows to the cloud, traditional calling solutions are being challenged by innovative offerings that break down barriers and connect teams seamlessly.

One such game-changer is Webex by Cisco’s (News - Alert) Webex Calling. The cloud-based calling solution is gaining traction for its integration with popular collaboration platforms like Webex Meetings and Teams. There is a chance to learn more about Webex by Cisco and hear from Aruna Ravichandran, SVP and chief marketing and customer officer, Webex by Cisco, during a keynote presentation at ITEXPO 2024, taking place February 13-15 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

However, the success of any cloud-based solution hinges on the reliability and reach of its underlying network infrastructure. Recognizing this opportunity, Peerless Network, a global communications provider now part of Infobip (News - Alert), announced its strategic partnership with Webex Calling as a certified calling provider for their Cloud Connect program.

“Adding Peerless to our Cloud Connect program will help enable Webex Calling customers to seamlessly connect to the cloud calling network,” said Amey Parandekar, VP of product management, Webex Calling.

Peerless Network (News - Alert)'s dedicated IP interconnections established between data centers ensure crystal-clear call quality and minimize any chance of downtime. Whether a business operates domestically or has a global footprint, the partnership expands their reach to connect with ease.

Businesses can also enjoy the benefits of cost-effective calling options without compromising quality. This allows them to make informed decisions about their communication needs.

“With Peerless’ IP network, customers enjoy the highest quality and fastest PSTN services at a competitive price point,” said EVP of Products and Technology for Peerless Network Jim Brewer. “Further, U.S.-based customers make their communications more efficient, expand their global calling footprint, and save on international calling.

This collaboration marks a step forward in the landscape of business communication. It offers Webex Calling users a wider range of options for enhanced reach, reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Since 1999, ITEXPO (News - Alert) has combined educational conference programming with a robust exhibit hall, networking events, and other activities, bringing together buyers and providers of business technology products and services that drive business success.
