Avaya Awarded Unified Communications and Contact Center Contract with Sourcewell

By Stefania Viscusi August 17, 2023

Customer experience solutions provider Avaya announced it landed a cooperative purchasing contract in the Unified Communications (News - Alert) and Contact Center categories at Sourcewell – a prominent Government Cooperative Purchasing Organization in North America. It has over 500 carefully solicited contracts tailored to government, education, and nonprofit entities.

With this, Avaya (News - Alert) stands as the exclusive major communications and collaboration solutions provider capable of offering enterprise-scale public, private, or hybrid cloud solutions.

This accomplishment was secured by Avaya after undergoing a rigorous request for proposal process orchestrated by Sourcewell. The contracts forged through this process not only align with, but often surpass local procurement prerequisites, attesting to Avaya's competence and commitment.

Spanning 48 months, Avaya's contract is accessible to U.S. and Canadian customers, enabling them to procure Avaya's comprehensive product and service catalog directly or through accredited Avaya partners.

The contract's immediate value lies in its ready-to-use competitive solicitation structure, ensuring swift acquisition and prompt access to Avaya's preferred products and services.

This contract underscores Avaya's role in providing innovative customer experience solutions and solidifies its positioning as a versatile and dependable collaborator for government, education, and nonprofit entities across North America.

“At Avaya, we are committed to facilitating seamless cloud migrations for our customers, fostering innovation without causing disruption, and eliminating the costly and prolonged 'rip and replace' methodology typically associated with updating their communication technology infrastructure,” said Jenifer Bond, Vice President of SLED, Avaya.

“Securing a Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract in the Unified Communications and Contact Center categories amplifies our reach, enabling us to simplify the contractual process for an increased number of customers. This development empowers them to transition their communications technology to the cloud at a pace and budget that aligns with their unique needs.”
