Enterprises turn to innovative solutions to revamp their communication systems. One such innovative technology company is Cisco, with its suite of technologies that include Broadsoft, Cisco (News - Alert) Unified Communication Manager and Webex by Cisco.
Research conducted by renowned industry analyst firm Metrigy reveals that Cisco's suite of technologies garnered significant adoption among enterprises utilizing on-premises UC solutions, with an adoption rate of 30.5%. Additionally, 36.7% of enterprises leveraging private hosted solutions have embraced Cisco's comprehensive communication solutions.
The research findings underscore the growing importance of Cisco's technology suite in the realm of enterprise communications. As digital transformation continues to reshape the business landscape, organizations are realizing the strategic importance of leveraging modern communication tools to stay competitive.
This is a golden opportunity for enterprise cloud communications companies. And one such company looking to pounce on that opportunity is Bandwidth. With its extensive experience and expertise in the field, Bandwidth (News - Alert) supports organizations in their communication modernization journey, whether they are transitioning from on-premises technologies or even migrating between different cloud platforms.
And Bandwidth recently unveiled an expansion of its longstanding collaboration with Cisco. The aim of this partnership is to facilitate seamless global enterprise cloud migration through the introduction of Cloud Connect for Webex by Cisco. This innovative solution utilizes Webex Calling, which is powered by Bandwidth's highly acclaimed Maestro platform.
Cloud Connect for Webex Calling seamlessly integrates with Bandwidth's Maestro platform, which was introduced to the market this past March. The Maestro platform is designed to bridge the gap between various best-in-class enterprise communication solutions, including UCaaS, CCaaS and AI platforms. This integration enables enterprises to benefit from a unified and uninterrupted delivery of cloud-based communication services, all in one consolidated platform.
One of the key advantages of this collaboration is that enterprises can now leverage Bandwidth's Tier-1 Certified Calling Provider status, eliminating the need for deploying on-premises local gateways for PSTN connectivity. Traditionally, organizations would rely on devices such as Cisco voice gateways or Cisco Unified Border Elements to establish this connectivity. By bypassing the need for such infrastructure, businesses can enjoy faster deployment, reduced complexity and ultimately lower overall costs associated with their cloud migration initiatives.
Another key benefit offered by Bandwidth is the ability for customers to manage their phone numbers directly within the Webex Control Hub. This centralized management experience ensures a streamlined process for enterprises and their Webex Calling users. By consolidating the management of phone numbers, Bandwidth further enhances the operational efficiency and effectiveness of enterprise communication systems.
"We are expanding our longtime partnership with Cisco to now help their enterprise on-prem customers move to the cloud with Cloud Connect for Webex Calling, powered by Maestro," said Sandy Preizler, Bandwidth's Chief Revenue Officer. "It's a story that also resonates with our channel partners and the ecosystem as we help chief information officers tap into a rich set of cloud capabilities to improve CX and reduce costs, while continuing to leverage their existing investments in Cisco workflows, integrations and devices."
Bandwidth Maestro's integration with Cloud Connect for Webex Calling is available for global enterprises with U.S. and Canada coverage, with global coverage available at a later date.
