888VoIP Teams Up with Konftel (News - Alert) As Endpoint Service Assurance and Quality Audio and Video Experiences Become Top of Mind

The rapid transition to massively distributed workforces, following on the response to the global pandemic over the past few years, has not been without its challenges.

Organizations scrambled to set up employees with the right connectivity, software, and equipment to ensure continuity, and were plagued with dropped calls, dropped video conference sessions, audio so jittery that more time was spent repeating information than sharing it, and general frustration as communications and collaboration services simply didn’t work.

This week, 888VoIP, a value-added distributor of VoIP related hardware and software solutions to Managed Service Providers, Value-Added Resellers, announced a new partnership with Konftel, a Swedish company that develops and manufactures products for effective and sustainable distance meetings including beautifully designed desktop and conference room phones equipped with their OmniSound audio technology.

This strategic partnership will mark the start of 888VoIP distributing Konftel meeting endpoint solutions and support to their customers.

“We’re very excited to share this announcement,” Shawn Claybolt, 888VoIP President and Chief Financial Officer said, “In partnering with Konftel, we will be adding additional high-quality solutions to our already expansive portfolio. 888VoIP’s concentration has always been in offering our resellers the latest, most innovative collaboration-focused solutions – partnering with Konftel is just another way that we continue to honor that commitment to our customers.” 888VoIP already offers solutions from high-quality, internationally known manufacturers. Adding Konftel expands their offerings in the category of collaborative meeting endpoints.

Peter Gasparro, Regional Sales Director at Konftel, repeated the sentiment: “We could not be happier to be partnering with 888VoIP. This means that Konftel will be able to further extend our offerings throughout the United States, bolstering new and existing customers with our world-renowned video conferencing solutions. We look forward to our relationship with 888VoIP growing and developing into new opportunities, both for our companies and for our customers.”

The global VoIP services market is expected to surpass the value of US$ 278.53 Bn with CAGR of 11.9% by the end of 2031 according to a recent study published by Transparency Market Research (TMR).

The corporate voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) market will reach $86.2 billion by 2020, growth that corresponds to an impressive 9.0% CAGR. The market has doubled its size in only eight years, according to Future Market Insights.
